Normet India Launches Concrete Spraying Machines & Hydraulic Breaker
Normet, a specialist company in mining, tunnelling, and civil engineering projects, has launched two cost-effective spraying machines and a hydraulic breaker for the Indian market, under its Aliva brand.

“Aliva rotor machines address the need for concrete spraying in confined spaces such as tunnel cross passages, vertical shafts, and small tunnels. They also serve as a versatile standby machine to support surface stabilisation at constructions sites. Aliva brand is popular with Indian customers due to its reliability and after sales support,” said Subhasis Mohanty VP, India and Middle East Sales Area.
“Normet’s extensive service network ensures we can offer local support for maintenance and minimise downtime. Original spare parts are available in short delivery times,” he added.
“The Aliva Elementa rotor machine offers a practical, straightforward solution for professionals in construction. Designed for general sprayed concrete applications, it provides reliable results without any complexity or added cost. We are not just introducing a new piece of equipment but also introducing a comprehensive service that enhances performance and extends the lifespan of the machinery,” informed Max Eckstein, Aliva Global Sales Director.
Aliva’s high-quality rotor-stator pump Mortera is equipped with a powerful rotor-stator pumping system with adjustable flow rates. It offers continuous high flow rates with very little pulsation, which significantly reduces the strain on operators and increases work efficiency. Integrated safety features protect operators and ensure a safe working environment during application.
“Mortera is engineered to address the entire lifecycle of concrete structures, from construction to repair. Our product responds to the growing need for the repair of concrete structures, where work quality and durability are becoming increasingly important,” said Eckstein.

The Swiss premium brand Aliva is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of equipment and accessories for concrete spraying. Aliva’s extensive expertise in concrete spraying further strengthens Normet’s position in the construction industry, where its equipment and technologies are used in demanding projects around the world in mining, tunnelling, and civil engineering projects.
Jyrki Hyyrönmäki, Global Sales Director, Xrock Attachments, informed that the cost-effective MRB B24 hydraulic hammer offers a reliable and cost-effective option for rock breaking tasks. Designed for heavy-duty use, it is an efficient tool for breaking hard and soft rocks, concrete, road surfaces, hard or frozen ground. The selectable hammer work mode allows users to adjust impact frequency and power according to material size and hardness. Adjustability makes it a versatile solution for applications such as primary rock breaking, hard and soft rock removal, trenching, benching and ground compacting. It comes with a piston accumulator, guaranteeing long pre-charging intervals. An adjustable impact stroke combined with maximum impact energy and frequency switch, provides the right power and speed for various applications.
Dhyanendra M. Tripathi, General Manager-Project Operations, informed that Normet’s concreting solutions that include Aliva 257 Rotor Machine, Aliva 101 Quick Connect Dynamo Spray Head, and Hydraulic Breaker MRB B24, are from the company’s newly acquired business entity Aliva, which specializes in portable concrete equipment. “With the acquisition, we have widened our equipment portfolio with smaller machines, which will supplement our bigger tunnel shotcreting machines like the Spraymec 5100 VC.”
The new Mortar Screw Feeder from the Aliva brand is suitable for making small batches of concrete. The Aliva 101 Quick Connect Dynamo Spray Head, that has applications in construction and rock slope stabilization, can be used as an attachment. With its quick and easy mount, it can integrate with any standard quick release system and can be installed as an excavator attachment in minimal time, making it suitable for a wide range of applications from slope stabilization to tunnelling.

The compact and robust Aliva 257 concrete rotor machine can spray both dry and weight concrete and can be used on construction, rock and slope stabilization, tunneling, mixing, and tunnel boring applications. With three rotor sizes available, the machine delivers output of 0.7 to 9.6 cum/hr. Due to its compactness, it can overcome long or high conveying distances effortlessly, especially with dry mixes. It delivers reduced dust development and rebound, promoting a cleaner working environment.
The Aliva 101 manipulator handles both dry and wet mix concrete with ease. When combined with Aliva's Converto spraying unit, it facilitates applications in both dry and wet shotcrete. The enhanced larger version enables spraying with DN80 dense stream nozzle, expanding its capabilities further. For more functionality, the Aliva 101 can be combined with any rotary machine or concrete pumps, transforming it into a self-sufficient concrete spraying system for varied project applications. The Aliva 101 offers quick, easy and flexible operations. With its integrated dynamo, there is no need for external power supply, which ensures uninterrupted performance.
“We have tied up with Metso India for our hydraulic rock breaker for use in their crushing plants for primary rock breaking. We will be offering techno commercial assistance for the portable machines and also for the hydraulic rock breakers," said Tripathi.
