Spartan Engineering Industries - Where Innovation is at the Core of Manufacturing

With an aspiration to be a revolutionary home-grown manufacturer of construction equipment and to strengthen the construction sector by introducing innovative machines, Dr. Vikram Mehta established Spartan Engineering Industries and subsequently developed the safest and most revolutionary hoists like the multi-functional material hoists in India, which won him recognition and established the Spartan brand as a strong contender in the construction sector.

“The construction business in India is developing due to ongoing urbanization, impending infrastructural projects, and a growing population base,” says Dr. Vikram Mehta, MD, Spartan Engineering Industries. “The construction industry is the third-largest contributor to the country’s economic growth, with significant opportunities prevailing ahead as well. The growing public sector projects are boosting the burgeoning Indian construction industry. With various reforms being adopted, the Indian construction sector has seen both disruptions and optimism in the recent past. In addition, new technologies are reshaping the way the construction industry operates and is managed in India, and hence it is also one of the major drivers of the industry.”

“My advice to emerging players in this industry is to be patient, persistent, and to have confidence in the growth of the Indian economy. India is already on its way to becoming the world’s fastest-expanding economy, and the construction industry will benefit greatly as a result.”

Spartan Engineering Industries

Spartan was responsible for introducing one of the most advanced, safe, and innovative hoists – the multi-functional material hoist, which established Spartan as a well-known brand in the field of hoists. It also positioned the company amongst the top names in the Construction Equipment Manufacturing Industry. Along with retaining a solid market share, the brand has achieved many milestones. Even during the pandemic, Spartan was able to accomplish record business.

“The pandemic has taught us a lot of things and has also impacted the way businesses are conducted. Spartan’s mission throughout the pandemic was to stay in contact with our nationwide customers, ensuring that all deliveries were made on time and that services were offered wherever possible,” says Dr. Vikram Mehta.
