Dingli: Premium Range of Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWPs)
"Dingli India is catering to the infrastructure industry with its range of MEWPs comprising of scissor lifts and boom lifts,” said Rajinder Raina, President - SAARC Countries. "Our products are designed to cater to various loads at different heights ranging from 5 to 37 meters. We are the only company in India to offer scissor lifts that can work at 37-meter heights and take loads of 1000 kgs.”

The company offers boom lifts with both stiff and articulated booms, which can work at 16 to 44-meter heights and can also operate on rough terrains. “Based on the operating needs and conditions at the jobsites, we offer options of diesel, battery, and hybrid models of boom lifts. We also have boom lifts that can work on regenerative batteries," informed Raina.
Buoyed by the success of Dingli’s MEWPs showcased at the recent bauma Shanghai 2024, the company’s India team was equally enthusiastic about bauma CONEXPO INDIA 24 at Greater Noida, where it enjoyed a premium location. The star attraction here was Dingli’s Mild Hybrid Series of machines that incorporate contemporary automobile technology with a focus on energy conservation, low cost of operation, and long intervals of service life of engine and batteries. The company drew attention to their 4x4x4 series of Boom Lifts with Foam Filled tyres, and their special purpose machines like Oil Free Scissors for the Pharma, Hospital, and F&B industries.

Dingli machines integrate technologies and designs, and the company holds several patents on its processes, materials, and safety standards. The components used in the machines, such as the sensors, hydraulic cylinders, and hoses, are sourced from Europe and USA-based companies of international repute. Dingli uses advanced, high-tech engines of Deutz, Germany, and of Kubota, Japan. “Both these companies are two generations ahead of the current engine homologation norms in India. The same holds true for our Hydraulic Motors, Pumps, and Gear Boxes – which make our machines of premium class,” said Raina.
“The fabrication of the undercarriage and the superstructure makes our robust machines appear sleek and elegant. The booms are made of patented High Tensile Steel. The geometry of the machines across the three planes makes them compact and stable, adding to their high safety standards along the entire load chart. Operators vouch for minimum vibrations even at maximum working heights, leading to increased productivity of the workers, while the sense of added safety improves their efficiency and output.”

Raina informed that most of the company’s business comes from rental companies. A challenge they face is from import of cheap second-hand AWPs. “However, what gives us a strong position is our reliable products, prompt services, and certified operators. Our Scissors Lifts of 30m to 37m working heights drew a lot of attention, as did our customised and special application AWPs for Rail & Road projects. What’s more Dingli's scissors and boom lifts come with attachments that can be used for work in tunnel construction, glass fitment work on facades, cleaning, and welding work on bridges and flyovers, and also for maintenance of commercial buildings.”
“We also offer special packages for CMC, buyback options, and are committed to long-term customer support. The good news is that the market is maturing and evolving from low cost to rightly priced machines. In early 2025, we will be introducing our Adaptable Boom Lift - the first dual purpose machine. In fact, the next two years will open up newer areas for application-based AWPs, led by Dingli,” said Raina.
