Dantal Hydraulics is in Expansion Mode
What is your overview of the Hydraulic Industry in India? How do you see its growth prospects?
Hydraulic Industry in India majorly depends upon growth of Mobile Hydraulic equipment such as Backhoe loaders, Excavators, Mobile cranes, compaction equipment, wheeled loaders, Forklifts, and Agricultural equipment. Though in the last 2-3 years, domestic demand was not very strong but now with increased Government focus and recent announcements of investments in infrastructure projects, demand of capital equipment is set to grow and which in turn will increase the demand of Hydraulic components in India. Hydraulics industry in India is projected to grow @6% CAGR.
Could you please tell us about Dantal Hydraulics, its manufacturing facilities, and distribution networks?
Dantal Hydraulics was established in 1990 and today after completing 25 years, we can proudly say that we are one of the leading manufacturers of Hydraulic Cylinders in India and supplying to almost all major OEMs in India and also exporting more than 20% of its volume to OEMs in USA, Europe, UK, Australia, Middle East etc. Our cylinders manufacturing plant is located at Manesar –Gurgaon with production capacity of 300,000 cylinders/annum. Our second facility at Manesar is for Rod processing plant which deliveries Chrome plated bars. We can produce piston rods which can achieve up to 1000hrs NSS rating 10 which ensures long life of plated piston rods in corrosive environmental conditions.
Dantal believes in providing Total solution in Hydraulics to its valued customers and with that motto our facility at Bengaluru designs, manufactures and delivers customized and standard Hydraulic systems for Mobile, Industrial and Defence applications. Our Standard Hydraulic systems include Mini AC/DC power units which find application in Car carriers, scissor lifts, Dock levelers, Mini Tippers etc. We provide complete kits for all these applications which include Hydraulic cylinders, manifolds, power packs etc.
Our recently commissioned third facility at Manesar produces Hydraulic Manifold Block assemblies for various applications.
What are the sectors, it is currently catering to with its solutions? Would you please highlight the technical attributes of your hydraulics?
Dantal is supplying Hydraulic cylinders to almost all industry sectors and major one includes Earthmoving & construction equipment, Material handling equipment, Agricultural equipment, Transport Hydraulics, Defence, and Special Projects etc. Hydraulic systems are being supplied to Industrial segments, special projects, steel mills, Defence Projects etc.
Major technical features of our Hydraulic cylinders are:
- Seamless drawn cylinder tubes are precisely burnished/honed to a finish of better than 0.2Ra internally to provide long life for piston seals and to prevent corrosion.
- High strength steel piston rods accurately ground and hard chrome plated to ensure anti-corrosion and maximum life of bearings and seals. Toughened, alloy steel piston rods are available on request
- Selection of seals are such that they are having very low coefficient of friction and anti-extrusion characteristics ensuring perfect sealing with absolutely frictionless smooth movement. Piston and piston rod are supported with replaceable self-lubricating bronze filled PTFE bearings which provides accurate and smooth movement.
- Wide varieties of mounting styles are available.
- Besides Conventional Chrome plating, we also use Continuous Chrome plating technology which not only is environment-friendly but also offers technical advantage over conventional plating.
- Hydraulic pressure testing of all hydraulic cylinders is done at defined pressure for leakages and guaranteed performance
- Endurance testing facility is available to test and validate prototypes.
Our major strength lies in our design and manufacturing facilities. Our manufacturing facilities have state-of-the-art modern machineries like Skiving & Burnishing machine, six axis robotic welding, friction welding, ultra sonic cleaning machine, cylinder assembly and various kinds of test rigs. Rod processing plant includes centreless grinders, in line induction hardening & tempering machine, Grinding & polishing machine, continuous chrome plating facility. Our USP is in offering quality products with latest technologies at economical price.
Our R&D wing develops new designs, new concepts and also innovates to ensure increased life of our products which in turn ensures increased Life of equipment wherein our products are being used.
