Concrete solutions provider Conmat Heavy Industries used EXCON as a platform to showcase its expanded product line, which included a 14-ton excavator, batching plants, and 6 variants of self-loading mixers, including their electric version. New exhibits from the company’s broader portfolio also comprised Electric Trailer Truck, Electric Wheel Loader, Electric Transit Mixer, Soil Compactor, Aerial Work Platform, Telehandler, Mini Concrete Mixer, Mini Loader, and the globally acclaimed Arrow Slipform Kerb making machines, which will now be manufactured by Conmat in India to cater to global demand.

“Keeping our commitment to sustainability, Conmat has displayed a large number of electrically driven machines, which are setting industry trends through sustainable performance and lower operating costs, reinforcing our brand as a forward-thinking and environmentally conscious company,” said Premraj Keshyep, Founder & Managing Director.

“Our futuristic range of machines is designed, developed, and tested in India using indigenously developed drive systems and motors. This reduces dependence on imports, lowers the cost of electric machines, makes them more affordable, and delivers faster returns on investment,” he added.

The Conmat excavator has been engineered specifically for Indian site conditions, at the company’s in-house research and development facility. New Conmat machines are powered by environment compliant engines that deliver higher torque, improved fuel efficiency, and superior performance. Key features include advanced hydraulic systems, intelligent work modes, operator-friendly cabin ergonomics, and real-time telematics for performance monitoring.

Conmat is now entering a new phase of growth by diversifying into earthmoving and infrastructure machinery, engineered for robustness and precision. “Traditionally, Conmat has been known as a concrete equipment manufacturer, with a strong and active fleet of over 12,500 units. Customers have continued to repose their trust in our products, backed by our performance guarantee and assured product support. This expansion positions Conmat as a comprehensive solutions provider for complex infrastructure projects,” informed Keshyep.

He further stated that the company is increasing investments in R&D for sustainable technologies and market expansion. “We will grow entirely through organic funding based on our own resources. The recent acquisition of KYB Japan’s stake in the company and 100% ownership has empowered us to take important decision regarding facility expansion and product development plans, including newer variants and advance upgrades of our existing product lines."
