Alltech: Innovative UNISURFACE Paver Line Designed for Ease of Use

Managing Director, AlltechParesh Patel, Managing Director, Alltech

What are the key features of the UNISURFACE paver line?

Alltech, a pioneer in slurry machinery manufacturing, introduced UNISURFACE paver line in two models—8000 and 12000. Designed for ease of use, the paver’s rear platform provides easy access, while the operator console is positioned to give a clear view of the paving process. Bi-directional joysticks and hand levers offer effortless and comfortable operation. The paver features an instant display of material consumption rates, a fully expandable hydraulic spreader box for flexible width adjustments, and SCADA-based automation for precise controls and reporting. This environment-friendly cold application technology aims to reduce energy consumption and achieve zero emissions.

The UNISURFACE supports micro-surfacing and slurry seal processes—cold mix paving technologies that rejuvenate existing road surfaces. These methods improve skid resistance, waterproofing, and sealing. The machine features an 8.5m³ aggregate hopper made of 6mm thick steel, a breaking vault beam with an electric vibrator, and an adjustable-speed aggregate feed conveyor belt. A twin-shaft mixer, equipped with 30 screwed-on paddles per shaft, ensures a perfect mix. Slope compensation is achieved via a hydraulic cylinder, and a Kirloskar engine (6-cylinder, air-cooled, 110 HP at 2300 RPM) powers the unit.

Other features include a high-pressure water gun for cleaning the spreader box and a front-mounted sprayer for cooling the road surface. The machine integrates UNIPROsys IoT enablement, providing smart service alerts for operators and equipment owners, enhancing maintenance and operational efficiency.

What are the benefits of Micro-Surfacing on Rigid Pavements?

Micro-surfacing seals the open surface of concrete pavements, helping maintain their structural integrity. It increases skid resistance, enhances road safety, and improves road geometry through profile corrections. The process also prevents pothole formation caused by cracks in the concrete surface and allows for better application and visibility of thermoplastic road markings. It reduces lifecycle costs, extends pavement lifespan, and contributes to sustainable road maintenance.

What products and services does the company offer?

Alltech offers a comprehensive range of equipment for road construction and preventive maintenance, including emulsion plants, CRMB plants, PMB plants, and micro-surfacing pavers. The company introduced the 120-tph mobile batch mixing plant with greater mobility and efficiency in road construction. Alltech serves clients across India, supported by its manufacturing facility in Mehsana, Gujarat and our in-house after-sales team for providing timely support to customers. The company is exporting to over 20 countries, including markets in Africa and Latin America.
