Po Tech: Revolutionizing Concrete Product Plant Automation

Po Tech entered the Indian market one and a half years ago with its expertise in manufacturing, installing and operating more than 100 plants in South Korea and South-East Asia during the last 25 years.

The company offers small concrete product machines with many benefits, not seen in India, and in innitial phase at a very competitive prices with two models: PT5555 & PT5243.

There are 3 strong features of Po Tech machine:

1. Even if Po Tech uses small size steel pallets (550 X 550) by adopting different stamping methods (vertical production) based on strong vibration power, both models (PT5555 & PT5243) have 1.5~2 times of production capacity than similar machines in brick production (67000 bricks of 230 x 110 x 70mm in 8 hrs shift).

For paving blocks, Unistone 80mm/100mm, to produce coloured pavers @ 16000 to 19000 per 8 hrs shift, 8pcs in a cycle, with option to attach a face treatment device.

Other than this, 60mm to 250mm height of various products can be manufactured such as blocks, bricks, kerb-stones, and pavers.

2. Po Tech machine has a unique filling system – the Impeller - which can reduce filling time, and fill mortar evenly within a very narrow space in a mould.

In case of hollow blocks, a 14-mm wall thickness is possible. The customer can reduce use of material, keep production cost low, and have same quality of sound-proof insulation and good strength.

3. Every system is designed very compactly with full automatic function (Rack loader, Unloder, Cuber) so only 30m x 60m space is required for a full automatic plant.

In other words, the initial invest cost is less and maintenance is easy. The Total Manpower required to operate the fully automatic plant from batching to cubing is 2 to 3 persons only.


Import Duty: There may be a general feeling that there will be high tax rate for importing the machines from overseas, but South Korea has a tariff agreement called CEPA with India, so for a Po Tech machine, including basic duty (1.56%), the total tariff is 19.89%, at present. But if the customer is a manufacturer, the GST (18%) will be refundable, which is a big benefit.
