Masa GmbH Partners with Super Tiles to Deploy Advanced L9.1 Paver Block Plant in Bangalore

German machinery manufacturer Masa GmbH has signed a contract with Super Tiles, Bangalore, to supply its advanced Masa L9.1 concrete block-making plant. Once operational, the facility will rank among India’s most sophisticated, high-capacity large-board plants, establishing a new benchmark for engineering standards and product quality in the domestic precast concrete sector.

The fully automated installation integrates high-precision compaction technology with a state-of-the-art curing system, achieving a cycle time of just 15 seconds for two-layer pavers. The facility will expand Super Tiles’ daily output by approximately 2,000 sq. m (around 21,500 sq. ft.), representing a significant operational upgrade over its existing production line, which operates at roughly 15,000 sq. ft. per day.

Explaining the choice of equipment, Sudhakar Mody, Director of Super Tiles, said, "We chose Masa because it has been one of the most trusted names in paver block machinery for nearly nine decades. While the capital investment is on the higher side, the engineering quality is outstanding and their technical support is dependable—a conviction formed after rigorous evaluations and direct technical visits to Masa’s facilities in Germany."

Mody also pointed to rising quality benchmarks across the construction industry, "I encourage developers, builders, and infrastructure contractors to prioritize multi-cavity, steel-molded paver blocks. They provide uniform density, tight tolerances, and superior durability under high load conditions, delivering reliable structural performance alongside an exceptional surface finish."

Underscoring the strategic relevance of the partnership, Omesh J. Nair, Area Sales Manager – South Asia, Masa GmbH, stated, “Super Tiles is an exciting addition to our growing network of over 10 Masa plants across India. This installation showcases our latest advancements in concrete technology and automation, and we are proud to partner with Super Tiles as they set a new benchmark for precast manufacturing in the region."
