VMRDA Invites Bids for ₹154 Cr Seven Roads for Bhogapuram Airport

The Visakhapatnam Metropolitan Region Development Authority (VMRDA) has invited tenders to construct seven new master plan roads at an estimated cost of ₹154 crore. These roads aim to decongest traffic on the national highway leading to the upcoming Bhogapuram Airport.

The approved roads will enhance connectivity in key areas around Bhogapuram, including Bheemili, Anandapuram, Gambheeram, and Adavivaram–Sontyam near Simhachalam. Out of the 15 roads proposed jointly by VMRDA, GVMC, and the Roads and Buildings Department, seven have received state government approval for immediate development.
