THDCIL to provide technical services to NHAI for Landslide Mitigation

THDC India Limited (THDCIL), a government-controlled power producer, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) to offer technical services as a consultant. Under this agreement, THDCIL will act as the technical consultant for NHAI, specifically focusing on assessing landslide susceptibility areas and recommending mitigation measures for vulnerable slopes along the Udhampur-Ramban stretch of NH 44.

The Udhampur-Ramban road segment holds immense national strategic significance as it serves as a vital link between the nation and the Kashmir valley. By collaborating with NHAI, THDCIL aims to enhance road safety and ensure the stability of the region's infrastructure, particularly the National Highway, by addressing the risks associated with landslides.
