Travelling along the Madanapalli-Tirupati route on the NH 205 will become more comfortable and hassle-free as the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) is all set to start the construction work on the four-laning of the 135-km long stretch crisscrossing various state assemblies constituency in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh. All the mandatory approvals for the project have already been put in place. NHAI is floating tenders and the construction work will begin shortly thereafter. Madanapalli-Piler-Tirupati region is one among the fastest-growing revenue towns of Chittoor district and the four-laning highway on this stretch will further boost the productivity and development in the region besides saving precious lives by bringing down the fatalities due to road accidents.
