NHAI launches Knowledge Sharing Platform to enhance national highway development

The National Highway Authority of India (NHAI)
The National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) has introduced a 'Knowledge Sharing' platform hosted on its website. This initiative aims to facilitate collaboration between NHAI, experts, and citizens interested in sharing knowledge and insights regarding road design, construction, road safety, environmental sustainability, and related areas. The platform encourages the exchange of best practices from around the world to foster comprehensive development of the country's National Highway infrastructure.

To share their expertise, individuals can upload video clips, PowerPoint presentations, and PDF files on the NHAI web portal. NHAI officials will review and evaluate the uploaded information for potential implementation.

NHAI is committed to leveraging innovation and modern technology for the rapid development of the National Highway infrastructure. In addition to incorporating recycled materials like fly ash and plastic waste, NHAI promotes the use of Recycled Asphalt (RAP) and Recycled Aggregates (RA) in highway construction, emphasizing sustainable and eco-friendly practices.

As the development of state-of-the-art tunnels, modern bridges, wildlife corridors, and expressways progresses, wider participation is crucial for the growth of the National Highway infrastructure. The knowledge sharing platform encourages experts and citizens to contribute their best practices, fostering collaborative efforts for nation-building.
