NHAI floats tender for ₹344.77-cr project in UP

The National Highways Authority of India has invited bids for the construction of a four-lane spur of Meerut-Garhmukteshwar section of the highway in Uttar Pradesh. The project involves ₹344.77 crore investment. The scope of work entails the construction of road stretch of the section of NH-709A directly connecting NH-119 (New NH-34) near village Salarpur Jalalpur (Meerut) with NH-58 (New NH-334) by the side of village Daurala in Meerut. The project will bypass Meerut City on engineering procurement and construction model, under the Bharatmala Pariyojana. The project completion period is of 24 months.
