MSRDC expedites ₹26,831-cr RR projects in Pune

Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) has hastened the ₹26,831.21 crore eastern and western ring road projects in Pune with the road building agency having recently completed the land measurement of the western part of the ring road project. The initiative has cleared the path for the evaluation of the land compensation to be given to the affected people and for the bidding process for construction of the mega road projects, informed sub-divisional engineer, MSRDC, Sandeep Patil. Out of the 26,831.21 crore approved by the state government ₹12,175.97 crore has been allocated for the western part of the ring road passing through four tehsils: Maval, Mulshi, Haveli and Bhor, and ₹14,655.24 crore has been allocated for the eastern side. A total of 629.57 hectare area has been acquired from 36 villages. The sub-divisional officers are now calculating the compensation price for the land and the proposal will be submitted to the town planning department and to the collector office to proceed with the construction.
