MoRTH invites bids for four-laning of NH-169 in Karnataka's Shimoga-Mangalore section
The Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MoRTH) has opened the bidding process for four-laning project on NH-169 in the Shimoga-Mangalore section of Karnataka. The project aims to widen the road and add paved shoulders, covering the stretch from design km 25.15 to km 56.70, with the exception of km 52.70 to 53.50. The estimated cost of the project is Rs 402.67 crore, and it is expected to be completed within a span of 24 months.
As part of the project, a five-year maintenance period will be implemented, during which the selected contractor will be responsible for rectifying any defects or deficiencies in the completed construction. This move ensures the long-term quality and durability of the infrastructure.
Interested bidders are requested to submit their proposals by the bid submission due date of 6th July 2023.
