IRB Infra gets go-ahead for ₹1,755-cr road project

A wholly-owned subsidiary and a special purpose vehicle (SPV) of IRB Infrastructure Developers, VM-7 Expressway, has received an appointed date from NHAI for the construction of 27.500 km long Gandeva-Ena hybrid annuity road project involving an investment of ₹1,755 crore. The project is also a part of the upcoming Vadodara – Mumbai Expressway.

Scope of work involves the construction of eight laning of Gandeva-Ena stretch on the Vadodara-Mumbai expressway and is being built under the ambitious Bharatmala Pariyojana, Phase-I, Package-VII in Gujarat. The construction period is 730 days O&M right is 15 years thereafter. The company is already constructing the 23.740 kms stretch between km (Vadodara) and Padra at an investment of ₹2,043 crore.
