IRB Group Reports 25% Growth in Toll Revenue in May 2026

IRB Infrastructure
IRB Infrastructure Developers Limited and its sponsored InvITs, IRB Infrastructure Trust and IRB InvIT Fund, reported a 25% year-on-year increase in toll revenue for May 2026.

The group's toll collections rose to ₹843 crore in May 2026 from ₹672 crore in May 2025, driven by sustained traffic growth across its portfolio and the commencement of tolling on newly operational assets.

Commenting on the performance, Deputy CEO Amitabh Murarka said the growth reflects the resilience of economic activity and the contribution of newly commissioned projects despite inflationary pressures and geopolitical uncertainties.

Among the key contributors were:
  • Mumbai Pune Expressway: ₹176.2 crore
  • Ahmedabad Vadodara Expressway: ₹83.8 crore
  • Hyderabad Outer Ring Road: ₹82.6 crore
  • Lucknow-Ayodhya-Gorakhpur Corridor and Lucknow-Sultanpur corridor (TOT-17): ₹61.5 crore
  • Lalitpur Lakhnadon Corridor: ₹44 crore
A notable addition was the Ganga Expressway Group-1, where tolling commenced on May 17, 2026, contributing ₹6.4 crore during the month.

The strong performance underscores the growing traffic volumes across IRB’s highway portfolio and the continued monetisation of operational road assets through BOT, TOT and InvIT structures.
