Centre clears ₹928-cr for Hyderabad-Manneguda road upgrades
The Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has sanctioned ₹928.41 crore for the expansion of the existing NH-63 into a four-lane road from ORR Appa Junction in Hyderabad to Manneguda in Vikarabad. Union Transport Minister, Nitin Gadkari informed that the construction work for four-laning of NH-63 has been approved in Telangana. It will improve interstate road connectivity and will ensure further all-round economic growth thereby lifting the socio-economic conditions of the masses of the area. Since the traffic density along the aforementioned stretch has always been high, the initiative is likely to provide respite to motorists and other road users.
