PWD in Kerala invites bids for an elevated highway

The Public Works Department, Kerala, has invited bids for up-gradation of the Alappuzha Changanassery Road into a semi-elevated highway. The project will be undertaken on engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) mode and is to be completed in 30 months. The state government has received financing from the World Bank towards the cost of the First Resilient Kerala Program, and it intends to utilize a part of the proceeds towards payments for up-gradation of the Road under the Rebuild Kerala Initiative (RKI).
