President Droupadi Murmu Inaugurates 105-ft Foot Overbridge in Dehradun

President Droupadi Murmu inaugurated a 105-ft-long foot overbridge on Rajpur Road in Dehradun, providing safe pedestrian access between Rashtrapati Niketan, the President’s official retreat, and the 132-acre Rashtrapati Udyan.

Built by the Uttarakhand Public Works Department at a cost of Rs 9 crore, the bridge showcases traditional Himalayan architectural elements. It offers a safer and more convenient alternative for pedestrians, helping them avoid busy routes.
