The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has invited bids for the construction of an elevated corridor at Kherwara Town on the Udaipur–Ratanpur–Shamlaji section of NH-48 in Udaipur district, Rajasthan. The project, valued at Rs 361.54 crore, will be executed under the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) model.

The elevated corridor is planned to ease traffic congestion, enhance safety, and improve connectivity along this key national highway stretch. Once completed, it is expected to significantly boost regional transportation efficiency.
