Uzbekistan’s First AI-Enabled Data Center

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has won a contract to construct Uzbekistan’s first AI-enabled 10-megawatt data center in Tashkent. Valued between Rs 1,000 crore and Rs 2,500 crore, the project aims to set a new benchmark for data center infrastructure in the region by integrating cutting-edge technology with sustainability.

L&T will be responsible for the engineering, procurement, and construction of this state-of-the-art facility. The data center will feature AI capabilities to support next-generation applications, optimize energy efficiency, and minimize environmental impact. It will also incorporate advanced security measures to ensure the protection of sensitive information.

This project marks a significant step in Uzbekistan’s digital transformation journey, positioning the country as a key player in the region’s technology and data infrastructure landscape.
