J&K hastens ring road venture

Jammu Kashmir Ring Road
In an attempt to hasten the mega ring road project in the Srinagar city of Jammu & Kashmir, the Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Baseer Ahmad Khan, has taken multiple initiatives to complete the project as quickly as possible. The ring road project is 61 km-long and starts from Gallander Pampore to Manigam Ganderbal via Budgam, Srinagar, Baramulla, and Bandipora. In a recently held meeting, the empowered officials took various decisions including land acquisition, erection of pegs and pillars, demarcation of the aligned area and other related issues. On the occasion, the Divisional Commissioner called upon the officers to work with added zeal and in synergy with concerned Deputy Commissioners so that bottlenecks, if any, are removed and work is expedited for smooth completion of this prestigious project for which the Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti, shall lay the foundation stone of the semi Ring Road project shortly.
