
The Prime Minister also inaugurated multiple road development projects with a total investment of over ₹215 crore. These include the construction of a new bypass road at Shikaripura Town on NH 766C connecting Byndur-Ranebennur, widening of NH-169A from Megaravalli to Agumbe, and the construction of a new bridge at Bharathipura in Thirthahalli Taluk on NH 169.
Under the Jal Jeevan Mission, the Prime Minister laid the foundation stones of multi-village schemes worth over ₹950 crore, including the inauguration of one multi-village scheme for Gowthamapura and 127 other villages, and the foundation stones for three other multi-village schemes costing over ₹860 crore. Additionally, he inaugurated 44 Smart City Projects in Shivamogga worth over ₹895 crore.
The Prime Minister also laid the foundation stones for six multi-village scheme projects under Jal Jeevan Mission in Belagavi, which will be developed at a cumulative cost of about ₹1,585 crore and will benefit about 8.8 lakh populations of over 315 villages. He dedicated the redeveloped Belagavi Railway Station building, an investment of about ₹190 crore, which will provide world-class amenities to passengers. Furthermore, he dedicated the rail line doubling project between Londa-Belagavi worth Rs. 930 crore and inaugurated the Shivamogga airport, which has a lotus-shaped terminal built at an investment of ₹450 crore.
