Maharashtra Govt Signs MoUs Worth ₹3,53,675 cr at WEF 2024

The Maharashtra government has inked memorandums of understanding (MoUs) totaling ₹3,53,675 crore at the World Economic Forum 2024 in Davos, Switzerland. The first day of the conference witnessed investment agreements worth ₹1,02,000 crore with six industries, followed by agreements worth ₹2,08,850 crore on the second day with eight industries. The Adani Group discussed potential investments in the infrastructure sector in Maharashtra and explored investment avenues in other segments. Meetings were also held with industrialists such as Lakshmi Mittal and discussions with Liechtenstein's prince regarding industrial investments. South Korea's Gyeonggi Province Governor highlighted the synergy between South Korea's manufacturing and technology expertise and India's skilled manpower. Additionally, Czech Republic firm Witkowitz Atomica explored investment opportunities in small modular nuclear reactor technology.
