Haryana speeds up ₹220-cr road project

The Haryana state government has decided to widen NH-444A into a four-lane highway, starting from Ambala to Saha, at a cost of ₹220 crore. Directions have been issued to NHAI officials, the contractor and officials of district administration to start construction on a fast track basis as the DPR of the 14.840 km stretch has already been prepared. Apart from the prescribed work, the state is also constructing service lanes on either side of the highway.
