TN takes up ₹175-cr bypass roads on NH 205

PNC Infratech
After much dilly dallying, construction of roads on NH 205 in Tamil Nadu has been taken a decision by the state government, which will provide the Chennai-Thiruttani - Tirupati highway with bypass roads ensuring hassle free connectivity to interior parts of the state and to some villages between Thirumazhisai and Tiruvallur, at an investment of ₹175 crore. The four bypass roads each measuring 2 - 2.5 km, will be built at Thaneerkulam-Thozhur, Sevapetaai and Veppampattu, for which NHAI has already invited bids. The four bypass roads will connect the national highways with neighboring railway stations, apart from decongesting the Chennai - Tirupati highway.
