Haryana government has recently approved road upgrades worth ₹238 crore across the state, PWD Minister Rao Narbir Singh said, elaborating that the improvement of 70 roads would be carried out under NABARD Rural Infrastructure Development Fund. The road stretches included Badyal to Nimbwala link in Panchkula district, Jagadhri workshop road in Yamunanagar, Chhachhrauli-Paonta to Rayanwala, Tajewala to Headwork, Jagadhri-Bari-Pabni road, Buria-Khadri-Deodhar, Jagadhri-Buria-Deodhar and the widening of Yamunanagar bypass to Ratauli road. In Ambala district, the road lengths are Ambala-Baraula to Tharwa, Bara to Babaheri, Ambala Cantt to Bara to Tharwa, Dhanauri to Chorpur, Dakheri to Chudiyali road, Jagouli to Sainipura, Ambala-Hisar to Muzaffia, Jansua to Punjab border, Kalwar to Punjab border and improvement of Jaitpura to Chhapra are among the other roads that have been cleared for improvements, he added.
