Adding to its project portfolio in the country's real estate sector, realty developer of national repute Godrej Properties has decided to develop a new residential project on a 7.5 acre land parcel in northern fringes of Bengaluru. The project in question, which is located on Bellary Road (NH-7), will be of around 8 lakh square feet. In the given scenario, Bangalore has become a key market for the realtor and this project addition is exactly matching to its strategy of expanding presence in the city, said MD & CEO, Godrej Properties, Pirojsha Godrej, claiming that the company has been aggressive in its expansion plans despite the overall slowdown in the sector. It is actively looking at tapping the market of Delhi-NCR with new residential projects in Delhi, Faridabad and Ghaziabad in the near future where the projects would be in the form of plotted development, group housing or villa development, among others.
