DDA plans 11-tower housing luxury residential units
The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has decided to build luxury housing projects at sector 19-B in Dwarka in south west Delhi. These will include fully furnished penthouses, complete with terrace garden and luxury fittings; alongside super HIG flats. The complex would have 11 residential towers with 1,114 flats, comprising 14 penthouses, 168 super HIG flats and 932 HIG flats. These apartments are in the pipeline for DDA's next housing scheme in 2020. DDA‘s current scheme has nearly 18,000 flats on offer, with an unprecedentedly high number of 336 HIG flats. It is the costliest DDA scheme ever with HIG flats in Vasant Kunj being offered for ₹1.4-1.7 crore. Officials said that the authority hopes to fund affordable housing from sales of the premium flats.
