Ceigall Northern Ayodhya Bypass Limited, a subsidiary of Ceigall India, has been awarded a ₹1,199.30 crore contract by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) to construct a 35.4-km northern bypass in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh.
The project, to be developed under the Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM) as part of Phase VII of the National Highways Development Project (NHDP), is designed to decongest Ayodhya’s core areas, particularly around the temple town, and significantly improve regional traffic movement.
The bypass will be developed as a four- to six-lane corridor, with construction scheduled to commence on July 9, 2025.
