Bihar clears Rs. 1,347-cr road projects

Adding to its road network in the state, the state government in Bihar has recently cleared nine road projects entailing an investment of Rs. 1,347cr, said an official spokesperson, claiming that out of the total number of projects, the maximum expenditure of Rs. 1,006-cr would be required for the construction of approach road on Son River in Aurangabad and building a four-lane road. Apart from this, the cabinet also approved a proposal to hand over 3.97 acre of land free of cost to National Highway Authority of India (AAI) for converting Aurangabad to Barwaada road to a six-lane road.
