BCM realty enters B'luru; plans 1.2-mn sqft project

Indore-based BCM Group has forayed into Bengaluru's real estate market after inking a JV ith manufacturing firm Natesh Impex to develop a 1.2-million sq ft commercial-cum-retail project at Yeshwantpur. MD, BCM Group, Rajesh Mehta, said that the Electronic City of Yeshwantpur is evolving from a prominent industrial area to a commercial and residential destination and the transition is set to accelerate with the extension of the metro line, shifting of more industrial units, and redevelopment of industrial land parcels. It has now become an attractive upcoming commercial market with Metro Cash & Carry clinching one of the largest land deals with Puravankara and retail giant IKEA also setting up its first project in the outskirts of the city.
