Terrain Material Handling Equipment from Manitou
On company's participation at bC India show, Mr. Ajay Mandahr, Director, Commercial Operations said, our objective is to participate in bC India predominately to introduce to our Indian customers the latest technology available in construction, industrial & mining material handling. We plan to exhibit versatile "MANISCOPIC" concept, which provides one-machine-solution for all the applications like Pick-n-Carry crane, Loader, Rough terrain variable lift Forklift, Access Platform/AWP and several other applications like Rib Erector (for tunnels), Tyre Handler, Log Handler, Light dozing, Sweeper etc. And the economical gain is substantial for users he said, adding that firstly, asset utilization is maximum (resulting from multi-application capabilities of the machine), secondly, it do away with the requirement of special skill-set mandatory for using different or variety of machines, thirdly, more safety at the site (ROPS & FOPS Cabin, in-built safe load indicators, automatic cut-off of operation beyond the safety zone etc.,) and last but not the least optimum inventory of parts at the operation site (maintaining parts for different application specific machines is a cumbersome job & cost ineffective).
Indian customer is more value sensitive and we have a product range, which offers unparallel value to our customers. bC India is one of the several platforms we intent to utilize to interact with our Indian customers. As you say "seeing is believing," by displaying these products at bC India, we will surely be able to corner some mind share of the customer and hence a better brand & product recall, he insisted. And to cater to the requirement of the industry in various product segments, we have dealership agreements with Escorts, Dozco & Gemini.
