Revomac Industries: Robotic 6000 Automated Block Making Machine

Flyash, hollow and paver blocks machinery making specialist Revomac displayed its new automated 'Robotic 6000' machine. Informed Jigar Patel, Director, "The new 'Robotic 6000' is a state-of-the-art machine featuring cutting-edge technology and automation for faster and more efficient placing of the raw materials for making the blocks, and also for helping in the palletization of the produced materials. Automation will minimize human involvement in running the machines and thereby any errors."
The blocks and pavers from the Robotic machines are for use in retain wall block block bridges, grass pavers, pavements, kerbs, boundary walls, buildings, and for ceilings and floorings. The Robotic 6000 which comes under Revomac's MAC+ Robotic series, has a unique turquoise colour. It is equipped with quality moulds, perfected by engineering expertise and technology. CAD system and finite element analysis are used for testing the moulds for their structural strength. “We have implemented the 3-D CAE method to test the moulds for multiple load cases, vibration, stress analysis, thermal, joint and geometry analysis,” said Patel.
The Robotic plant, completely made in-house at Revomac's facility in Ahmedabad, comes with three detachable body parts for ease of cleaning and maintenance. The ease of handling the components makes it user-friendly and convenient for daily usage. An air bellow system ensures a secure grip on the moulds during vibration, maintaining consistent amplitude throughout the process. The machine is designed with a complete mould filling process, thereby decreasing its cycle time. The resultant increase in speed not only improves productivity but also further streamlines the manufacturing process.

Patel informed, "The main automation feature in the plant is the auto rack system. As curing plays a major role in the production of concrete, utilizing pallets with legs can significantly cut down the expense associated with racks as they enable automatic rack formation when stacked. The Robotic machine has an automatic height control system that ensures uniform height of the concrete products to meet civil construction standards.” Revomac’s other automatic machines under the Mac Series are MAC+ 3000 and MAC + 4000.
The company’s conventional models of block making machines include MAC 1400, MAC1800, and MAC 2500, all of which are designed by the company’s R&D team. The company also produces planetary and vibro mixers, silos, and bins for the plants. The plants produce fly-ash bricks, solid concrete blocks, hollow blocks, zig-zag pavers, i-shaped pavers, interlocking bricks, retaining blocks, and kerb stones. Said Patel, "We deliver end-to-end solutions and ensure optimum utilization of the machines across their lifecycle so that our customers enjoy maximize RoI.”
“Our ability to undertake feasibility analysis is our core strength. This is mainly presales support which includes the demand factors which will determine the project’s feasibility, the land required, and the government and local regulations. Based on the report, the client decides on what capacity plant should be acquired, following which, we manufacture the plant and install the systems.”
“Post the installation, we take the client through the plant’s operational processes such as batching, feeding, mixing, vibro machining, stacking, mix curing, cubing, testing, and finally dispatch. With this information, the client can be assured of producing quality concrete products.”
