Demand for foundation equipment has picked up

Demonetization and GST introduction did slow down the market briefly for few months, however, the market seems to have factored in these reforms. Due to the big focus on infrastructure development projects by the government, demand for foundation equipment has picked up again. We have done reasonably well as compared to what we did last year, and we are quite hopeful that 2018 will again be good year from our perspective.

New Casagrande products

Our new products are KG25 (semi Kelly guided Dwall Grab for deep excavation) and non-vibratory stone column attachment, that can be mounted on Casagrande machines.

Casagrande had introduced its XP technology in year 2011, where XP stands for Xtra Performance. The main attributes of XP rigs are Smart Power Management which ensures right power at right place at right time; Full Load Sensing which helps in fuel saving by charging only the required amount of hydraulic oil. Flexibility which helps in converting the rig from one application to another (Piling to Dwall to CFA to Soil Mixing etc) with very less manual intervention. We have provision for remote monitoring and fault diagnostics. These features of XP rigs make it productive, reliable, and efficient.

R&D for Diagnostics and Control Systems

Our technical department is constantly investing in upgradation of the products with the latest technology, and these upgradations are incorporated after due process of testing in different field conditions, and as relevant to the Indian market.

Casagrande machines are equipped with digital 10” LCD display system inside cabin giving instantaneous data of performing parameters like Rotary Torque & RPM, Fuel consumption, Hydraulic pressure, Pile Depth, mast verticality etc. There is a pop-up whenever change of filters and oil is due, which ensures prior intimation to customer about servicing of rig. Our system is also equipped with a Fault Diagnostic System which gives error codes for easy identification of faulty parts, thus, minimizing human intervention.

Our Fleet Master System can be used through the internet with any device (PC / tablet / Mobile) to monitor rig parameters from any part of the world. Our fleet master allows you to manage your fleet by controlling the working efficiency, fuel saving and working time. It always stays connected with Casagrande service team; to achieve a fast and effective intervention on the rig, relying on up-to-date and valuable data.

We are providing our own experienced operators to run the machines during the initial phase of equipment deployment. We train our customer’s operators in operation and maintenance of the rig. In our display system, there is also one dedicated page which lists out working hours in which maintenance has to be carried out. All these features are well appreciated by our customers.

Strengthening our service team to cater to the growing demand

Casagranded S.p.A is directly marketing its products and services in India. This has entailed much better customer and segment focus. Expansion of its Indian staff is a regular exercise and we keep on strengthening our Indian team to cater to the growing demand of foundation equipment.

With our existing customers, our focus is to provide them prompt service that meets their requirement of parts or service engineer. We also provide solutions on how they can utilize their existing fleet for another application, by simply changing or making a few changes in the rig configuration. New at Excon 2017

At our Booth E-156 in Hall 1, we will showcase our wide range of civil foundation equipment and the new technology that we have brought into our XP series of rigs. We will also display our special service kits for our machines covering mechanical, hydraulics, and electrical consumables, which will give customers a ready solution for any minor breakdown in rig.
