What has been the impact of present spell of slowdown on Puzzolana group, whether critically or marginally, and how the Group is addressing itself to minimize its impact through prudent measures to sustain market sentiments?
The impact of slowdown is marginal in our case, as we have a +1800 plants in the market and we are rated as" best in terms of overall cost/ton." Also we critically monitor Inventories, revise production plans and reduced the delivery time, so that our customers will not feel the effect of increased finance costs.
Are the current blips in CE market transitory and is CE market expected to bounce back on the strength of country's massive agenda of infrastructure development? What is your assessment of CE market growth in the next 2-3 year?
The market will grow in a steady pace and will attain a growth of 6-8% by year 2014.
A word about Group's latest innovations in developing end-to-end open pit underground coal processing systems and first of its kind dedicated manufactured sand plant set up in Maharashtra. What has been the market response and how may such plant you are contemplating to setup in near future?
A. The first in pit crusher (Feeder Breaker) supplied for Lignite to M/s. South West Mining Ltd., is averaging 500 tph capacity and they have repeated the order and second plant is also in regular production.
B. The sand plant of 300tph performance made our customer to convert the earlier plant also into a dedicated sand plant of 200 tph. We have developed other sizes of this super fine cone crusher which we named as "Sanders".
Due to environmental consciousness and places where River sand is not available the only solution is for manufactured sand.

Puzzolana utilizing indigenously available sources and expertise developed complete technology for Aggregates/ Mining Ores crushing and screening and developed itself in to an Engineering Organization engaged in the design, manufacture, supply, installation and commissioning of Crushing & Screening Plants on turnkey basis.
