Sicoma will launch its new MAO1125/750 mixer at Excon which will fill the void between 0.5M3 and 1.0M3 Twin Shaft Mixers.

R&D and recent advancements in machines

We have introduced some India-specific features in our mixers to reduce downtime during maintenance procedures. We have also moved to energy-efficient IE2 Motors. So, our Mixers have become more energy-efficient.

R&D is a very important and continuous process to improve quality and productivity of construction equipment. Our R&D team is in constant touch with our regional offices to provide the best solutions to customers.

We brought down lead times of concrete batching plants by 75%

Sicoma India is expanding its production facilities in Bangalore to cater to growing demands. We shall also look to cater to overseas markets. Like I have mentioned in my earlier posts, our core strengths are a robust product & strong after-sales support in terms of parts, service and training.

We strongly believe our customers look for these qualities in a supplier, all of which we have. We can proudly say that in a way we have been responsible to bring down lead times of concrete batching plants by 75% due to smart production practices that we follow, and we ensure Mixer availability at all times.

2017 a very impressive year for Sicoma India

Implementation of GST has been in the right direction. There are some initial hurdles which we are facing, but we are confident that they will sorted out in the days to come. GST’s impact on our business was felt in the initial months due to the transitional phase, but we have more or less returned to normal business activity now. As a B2B business organization, effect of demonetization has been minimal on us. 2017 has been a very impressive year till now. We are confident the trend will continue.

Market has definitely picked up year-on-year since 2015. We are hopeful that this scenario will continue for a few more years with the announcements of infrastructure projects such as roads, rail networks, irrigation etc.

New at Excon 2017

Excon is a very significant event for us in south India, and this usually takes place when markets open post the monsoon season. So, it should be a good connection platform with OEMs, project executioners and end-users. We will launch our new Twin Shaft Mixer MAO1125/750 at the show. This Mixer should fill the void between 0.5M3 and 1.0M3 Twin Shaft Mixers.
