PMP offers complete package of solutions to OEMs
Federico Ferazzutti - PMP Industries Group
PMP industries will continue to provide higher levels of equipments performance optimization through its integrated solutions for India and global markets. The company is offering a range of solutions for varied verticals of construction and mining mobile plants and machinery through three divisions: its power transmission division provides track drives, integrated track drives, wheel drives, and swing drives. Its fluid power division is providing high pressure axial pistons hydraulic motors and axial pistons hydraulic pumps. The electric vehicle driveline division provides high speed traction motors, and integrated controllers.
The three divisions bring together the best electronic, hydraulic and mechanical technologies to create superior technical solutions for every application, thus, enabling the company to offer a complete package of solutions to OEMs for their components’ performance optimization, along with dependable availability and reliability.
Said Federico Ferazzutti, Asian Area Development Manager, PMP Industries Group, “However, besides providing the components, our role is also that of an application specialist, which means that we also undertake customized designing by assessing the equipment’s performance parameters like speed, gradients, weight, and what the equipment is likely to be subjected to during the course of operations in base of the specific customer requirement.”
An example of PMP’s engineering is the PMS dual integrated drives, which, according to Ferazzutti was pioneered by the company for electric industrial vehicles that have a unique range of gear boxes with integrated electric motor. The PMS series feature higher efficiency and lower costs compared to traditional solutions, along with compact and high speed motors (of upto 10.000 rpm). Integrated control is also available with automotive grade components.
“The cornerstone of our specialization is ‘Integra’ which the interaction and integration of complex electronic, mechanical and hydraulic systems and represents our vision and mission for the future. Integra is the base of PMP technological hub, formed between our R&D department and our internal training structure, along with a strategic alliance between premium research labs,” informed Ferazzutti.
PMP will be soon launching its new ‘Digita’ solutions, a product that is the direct consequence of the ‘integra’ concept – “an electrical control device , fitted into our complete and integrated solutions, that will allow to gather all the required performance details and make them available from remote (i.e., mobile phones, laptops…) Digita will be declined on the single specific application. Digimix, the product dedicated to the transit mixer, has been the first one to be launched. Soon the other will follow,” said Ferazzutti.
