"To keep pace with the current and future requirements and to meet the demand of economical and maintenance–free pumping in the construction industry, MONIBA has come up with new generation peristaltic hose pump which possesses lots of superior technical attributes. Our focus is to streamline our business operation by concentrating on cement transfer plants wherein we shall be opening a bigger factory area from Vasai to Palghar. We have also entered into collaborations with major EPS based concrete manufacturing companies in India," apprises Mr. Rakesh Engineer, Managing Director, MONIBA Anand Electrical.

Started in 1979 with manufacturing of domestic and industrial water purifiers, MONIBA Anand Electrical Pvt Ltd, in 1993, decided to enter into the industrial pumps segment along with trading of air operated double diaphragm pumps. Being ISO 9001 2008 certified, the company currently manufactures a wide range of pumps including Air Operated Double Diaphragm pumps, Peristaltic hose pumps, metallic and non-metallic centrifugal pumps, and portable submersible pumps.

Speaking about the company with great fervor, Mr. Rakesh said, "Product innovation and development is our passion. From time-to-time, we have been adding new products to our range and also upgrading the existing offerings. The latest being the up-gradation of the existing series of peristaltic hose pumps and piston disphragm which have attained unprecedented growth due to their productivity, mobility, and labor saving features."

Explaining the features of peristaltic hose pumps he said that the product has various advantages which include: no seals, no valves; elf priming; running dry without damage; time saving in C.I.P. applications; teverse flow by reversing motor; pump mixed phases; Variable speed can be adjusted by variable frquency drive; handling solids and moreover only hose tube in contact with liquid.

The demands from varied application sectors and semi-urban geographies have propelled the hose pump to be positioned as an integral part of the mobile eps/lightweight concrete machines for small to medium concreting requirements."
