What will be the company’s focus during its participation at bauma Conexpo India 2016?
The company’s focus is the launch of its bigger and better SPM 30 machine with a pallet size of 750x600 mm. This machine comes with Automatic Rack and Pallet Handling system and Automatic Cubing with Stretch Wrapping.
What products and services will be launched/displayed at the show?
We will be demonstrating the Automatic Rack and Pallet Handling system for the first time in India. This is a unique handling system that not only reduces the manpower, but reduces breakage and improves efficiency and productivity.
This is achieved by making a robust and fail-proof machine. It has been the endeavor of Columbia to design and manufacture this kind of a product and SPM 30 is the result of our regular R&D.
What is your view on the growth of construction equipment industry in India?
Like everyone in the industry, we are also looking forward to the growth that will come with the increased government expenditure. Columbia is geared-up for this growth with increased manufacturing capacity, new products, and expanding sales and service force.
