Mr. Manoj Kumar, M.D
At Excon, we are launching our Mini Press for Kerbs, Slabs, and Flag Tiles. Our other star attraction will be Mega Star Planetary mixers, 4 Station press machine, Block Master series of machines & AAC plants made in association with WKB Germany.

Our upcoming manufacturing facility will be one of the biggest in this industry. We are setting up robotic systems to maintain quality and accuracy

Indians are well known for technology, quality and service. We decided to materialise this advantage and set up the production facility in Bangalore, the IT & Engineering hub of India. All our new machines are equipped with a modem system which can be connected through the internet; it offers all kinds of support to our customers.

The most important point is the plug and play solution as all the machines assembled and tested in-house before dispatched to site. With this, the site work could reduce drastically. We understand the practical difficulties such as foundation load calculations and designs, faced by our customers, and have our in-house engineers to support and supervise all these concerns.

Our new manufacturing facility is under construction and is expected to be ready by March 2018. It covers 60,000 sq.ft. with a built-up area for production, service, and engineering. It will be one of the biggest facilities in this industry with 6 overhead cranes, including a 50 ton, for heavy assemblies. Apart from this, robotic welding, machining and handling systems will be in place to maintain the high quality and accuracy in the products and their output.

We use parts only from top global suppliers for our machines

Forest Press Machineries - SINGLE STATION
Service is most important in this industry as the machines have heavy vibrations and accurate controls. As they work with aggregates and cement, they create a lot of dust and often damage the parts. So, availability of parts is very important; and we use only those sourced from top global suppliers.

Forest Press machines are designed with maximum electrical controls, which help to ease diagnosis. We have a 24/7 service facility and are in the process of setting up more such facilities in other parts of the world.

Forest Press has sales and service facilities in 20 countries

Forest Press is a British company with sales and services in 20 countries. We started the facility in Bangalore two years back and have already exported our machines to Bahrain, Qatar, Nepal and Iran.

We see India as the manufacturing hub for the group and associate companies. Forest Press is associated with WKB from Germany, AME from Austria, HMB Moulds from Germany and Eco Filters from UK. Westa is our main agent in Iran; KSN Services in Middle East; and Zcon in Vietnam. We are looking for agents and dealers in US, Canada, Australia, and African continents.

We are working on several new products and franchisee system in India, which we will announce next year or so. Most of the new developments are in developing markets of Asia, Middle East, and Africa. The quality, service and cost will be major factors, so we will come out with simple and economic solutions to adapt to these markets.

Project-based solutions and maximum use of fly ash, pond ash, crusher powder and iron ore briquetting is possible with Forest Press Machines.

We achieved 80% of our projections despite the new reforms<

Transformation changes are necessary as our country has grappled with policy paralysis and high-level corruption for years. A positive change is imminent, and GST brings a major impact to the economy.

We are supplying to projects in Kerala, Goa, Mumbai, Odisha, and Nepal, which takes several days of transportation and border crossings. Normally, it takes a longer time to clear the goods at state borders, which is not the case today. The costs of machines are also slightly down due to the new calculation methods.

Demonetization did not make any impact on us directly as we were doing online transactions since a long time. But indirectly, it affected us, as several construction projects halted, and the builders are yet to position themselves in the new scenario.

The prices of real estate projects have gone down drastically from the earlier projections, and new financial workings and bank formalities will take some more time to settle down. Basically, we were able to achieve 80% of our projections in this unusual situation, which is considered successful.

New at Excon 2017

Forest Press will have two stands (Hall 1 & 4), where we will showcase a few of the new models. As Bangalore is our home turf, we would prefer to show the latest innovations and developments in this industry.

Forest Press is well-known for wet press machines and our new addition is a Mini Press for Kerbs, Slabs, and Flag Tiles.

Mega Star Planetary mixers of 375 litres to 1500 litres with many special features of batching plants, will be another attraction.

Our 4 Station press machine with double layer for semi-dry mix for bottom and colored wet mix for top layer, can produce special tiles with different finishes such as terrazzo tiles.

Our Block Master series of machines produce blocks, interlocking pavers and fly ash bricks from entry level simple options to completely automated lines.

AAC plants in association with WKB Germany, will be the main attraction as we are offering 70% of the plant components in India and cutting machines, tilting tables and green separator from WKB. This proposition will help reduce the initial investment in price and service costs for customers.
