The Architectural Hardware Division of the company offers hardware for various opening solutions catering to both Aluminium and UPVC window systems. The Indian glazing industry has been expanded many folds in the past decade resulting in increased demand for ventilation within a building. “The hardware solutions provides help in achieving a balanced ventilated environment which overall improves the comfort level of the occupants alongside ensuring energy sustainability of the building says, Mr. Chugh. He further adds, “In such a scenario, open windows are required to minimize the energy costs during various operations and the process in turn helps to dissipate any heat buildup within the building.

Elaborating further he added that there are also various types of opening solutions catering to different requirements of the industry. For example, in the case of highrise buildings, the use of parallel opening windows would help in increased ventilation and user-safety. Based on application and client requirement, the company specifies the most suitable hardware options, keeping the comfort and safety of the occupants in mind. The player currently offers hardware solutions for Casement windows, casement doors, Tilt & Turn windows, Parallel openables, and Sliding windows/doors. The company has witnessed a huge surge in enquiries from clients requiring unique opening solutions and also coordinating with its suppliers on new product lines keeping the future demand trend in mind. LGF is actively developing Slide fold, Tilt slide, Reverse Tilt & Turn, and Lift slide systems which are to be made available in the near future.

In addition, the company also provides in-house and on-site products training and is constantly developing such methods that can educate the importance of quality hardware and innovative opening solutions. It has dedicated experts who visit office/site/factory as per clients requirement. The quicker response on the part of its experts is extraordinary. In fact, products training is imparted to new staff, members apart from prospective clients and distributors as situation demands.

 
Within the Architectural Hardware Division, the player has partnered with Alualpa and Securistyle and both are leaders in the range of products they offer. Alualpha, nestled in Portugal, provides innovative hardware solutions to clients across 20 countries. Their products are designed according to the market requirements which clearly is evident from wide varieties of products they offer. In totality, the quality of products and the quality in its manufacturing is crucial as the process determines the product’s life cycle. They follow NP ISO 9001:2000 for quality control and all their products are tested to EN1670 13126-1 European standards.

Similarly, Securistyle, based in the UK, is a market leader in the development of friction hinges for windows. It globally sets such standards in hardware that reflect its commitment to quality in design, manufacture and performance. Its in-depth understanding of the market in which it operates, can anticipate the growing requirements of each sector. The continous development of versatile products complying with the latest legislation provides real value. Its unique products determine the method a window opens and they have opening solutions for windows as high as 4.2m and weigh as much as 350kg. They are able to design and develop solutions based on client requirements, like parallel hinges, which was a product designed for a particular project and has been accepted by the industry as a viable opening solution, he added.
