HILLSON's Clawz Series of Safety Footwear: Light & Comfortable

What are the outstanding features of the company’s new Clawz series?
Our new Clawz series offers one of the lightest and most comfortable safety shoes in the industry. These are our “hero” products for which we are receiving very positive feedback. Safety and durability are key features of HILLSON shoes in view of their use in tough working conditions. Along with these features, comfort, aesthetics, ergonomics, and proper fitting of our shoes have made us the most preferred footwear brand in sectors like mining, infra construction, industrial plants etc, across the country.
For any workplace, safety footwear is mandatory. As performance footwear, they must pass all the rigorous tests. We already have BIS approvals and the ISI mark. The materials we use, including the toe caps, which are the most important component of safety footwear, are of European standard, plus, the shoes meet international standards such as EN 20345 and IS 15298. We are also exporting to some countries.

What materials are being used for making the shoes and what is the company’s annual production capacity?
The materials range from leather to polyurethane, non-synthetic leather, rubber, and many others. Our company is producing close to 26,000 pairs a day, currently, and once our new plant is commissioned, we will be targeting production of roughly 1,000,000 pairs a month.
Our upcoming factory complies with all the IGBC guidelines. About 10% of the electricity will be through solar panels, and there will be no liquid discharge into the environment. We will be taking measures to reduce any kind of waste. Since ensuring sustainability in production processes has become necessary for manufacturers, we too are taking steps toward creating a greener future; eventually, all manufacturers will have to consider their carbon footprint.

We are a 43-year-old company in this industry. Now that we have the infrastructure, an experienced team, and a large network of dealers, we are further strengthening our position as the numero uno brand of safety footwear in the country.
During my travels across the world, I meet clients, engage with the audience on platforms like bauma that discuss safety issues, and gather insights on what's happening globally. The insights gathered and feedback from customers help us in developing newer and better products.
