G.K.Technochem was incorporated in 1989 and since then it has created a name for itself in the construction chemical industry not only in India but also abroad due to its timely and prompt services and quality work. G.K.Technochem has also been pioneer in the introduction of various new technologies in India. This is an ISO 9001:2000 certified company engaged in the business of epoxy, polyurethane, Polyurea floorings and coatings, antistatic flooring, waterproofing, repair and rehabilitation of structures.

G.K.Technochem has also been in the forefront to acquire latest technologies and modern machineries and equipment for the over all growth and modernization of application techniques to save manpower and utilize them for the overall growth.

G.K.Technochem provides regular and up-to-date training to its employees regarding new techniques and latest technologies and improvement in the way of execution of work.

G.K.Technochem has been awarded the best applicator trophy for the northern region by M/s Fosroc Chemicals (I) Pvt Ltd.

G.K.Technochem has also tied up with Carbotech Minova for the construction chemical solution. In India G.K.Technochem has tied up with Laticrete India Pvt Ltd for the tile adhesives and other construction chemicals and also with Boss profile for their vitrified tiles.

G.K.Technochem has a large tally of assignmentsundertaken for its clients in industrial floorings, wall coatings, waterproofing, foundations, tunnelingdams using various sophisticated services and techniques at its disposal. Can you in brief touch upon one or two success stories relating important assignments? Also tell us the number of projects completedin India and abroad which have made a meaningful contribution in terms of new concepts applied and timely technical service provided.?
G.K.Technochem has executed many critical jobs in India as well as abroad. G.K.Technochem completed 24,000 m² area for the 6mm screed in Kenafric Industries, Nairobi, Kenya in just 100 days with a manpower of 6 men only. It was an extremely critical job and was supposed to be completed in 4 months.

G.K.Technochem also did the structural repairing of Column and beams for La Shangrila hotel in Cannaught place for 51cm using approx 70 tons of material.

G.K.Technochem has also undertaken metro tunnel repairing jobs also for Rajiv Chowk underground Metro station and old Delhi metro station for the injection grouting using Carbotech material to stop the ingress of running water in the tunnel. It was extremely critical job and required an indepth application and expertise but our experienced team of professionals carried out the work to the utmost level of perfection.

G.K.Technochem got an ISO certification 9001:2000 due to its extremely quality and prompt services and timely completion of jobs.

Since then G.K.Technochem has always maintained its quality standards and ISO norms. To ensure quality work G.K.Technochem provides checklist to every department to measure deviations and take timely corrective actions in this regard.

G.K.Technochem conducts various training programs wherein specialists from abroad comes and impart training to its employees. We also send our manpower and personnel abroad to help them understand the latest technologies, updates techniques, modern machines and equipment.

How would you look to the future of G.K.Technochem in this business in the next three-four years? Are you looking at other product tie-up arrangements within the country or abroad?
G.K.Technochem sure have maintained its growth in this difficult time of the economy and is confident of doubling its turnover within next two years. G.K.Technochem also look forward to provide its employees a healthy atmosphere for their overall growth and development.

G.K.Technochem is also planning to tie up with some other companies within India and abroad to increase its reach in the construction chemical industry.

Despite a vast of knowledge and expertise about concrete technology and its interplay in construction practices, the awareness about repairs and rehabilitation of structure is skin deep in the industry. The repair and rehabilitation work is still regarded as the poor cousin. What role a forward looking company like G.K.Technochem can play in creating proper awareness about this so as to save structures from premature degradation?
G.K.Technochem has also been pioneer in introducing modern and latest techniques and technologies in the construction chemical industry. Today construction chemical industry has grown tremendously and has incorporated various new products for the repair and rehabilitation of old structures to save them from premature degradation. G.K.Technochem is making all efforts to create awareness about these products in the market and to help these products penetrate in the local market.

Now G.K.Technochem plans to create training programs among architects and builders to create more awareness and word of mouth in the near future.
