Dillinger

“At bauma CONEXPO INDIA 2018, we will display our innovative steel products, establish trade links, and maximize opportunities for networking with existing and potential customers. Dillinger formed in the year 1685, is the best plate producer in the world, and is constantly setting new benchmarks in plate manufacturing with the latest technologies and its total orientation is around customer’s needs.”
We are looking for joint venture opportunities for processing.
Dillinger undertakes constant technological developments in close cooperation with its partners for making steel plates for construction equipment - mainly crushers, dumper bodies, and earthmoving equipment. The company is making specialized products and considering customized, semi-finished product processing in the long run.

Dillinger steels stand up to wear for long service lives of equipment used in earthmoving, highway construction, mining, quarries, cement plants etc.
Dillinger’s wear-resistant steels assure extreme resistance to abrasive wear, and thus, significantly lengthen the service-life of components exposed to extreme wear in vehicles, industrial plants, machinery, handling and conveying systems and attachments in earthmoving, highway construction, recycling and mining, quarries, cement plants and steel mills, etc. The company’s broad range includes diverse grades and size formats, in thicknesses extending from 8 mm to around 200 mm.
Dillinger’s diverse range of plates are available from standard grades to its proprietary steels such as DILLIMAX for ultra-high loads and DILLIDUR for optimised wear-resistance.
Dillinger is seen as a reliable supplier of plates with the promised internal and external quality and properties and which can be easily and reliably worked and welded. The company also meets individual specifications – and in formats and dimensions extending from the ‘routine’ right up to XXL – and semi-fabricated, if needed.
Our DILLIDUR proprietary steel is the result of more than 50 years of experience and unceasing development, conducted in cooperation with renowned OEMs. These steels incorporate a balanced alloying concept, and pleasant working and welding properties. Low pre-heat temperatures prior to welding and flame-cutting assure greater safety margins during workshop fabrication and on-site repairs under adverse conditions.

More load-bearing structures and even more gigantic machines, handling/conveying systems and lifting equipment necessitate even higher-performance materials that will dependably and cost-efficiently withstand the increasing loads resulting, but with the lowest possible material weight. Dillinger’s response to these needs are its high-strength, extra-high-strength and ultra-high strength quenched and tempered fine-grained structural steels, with nominal yield strengths ranging from 460 MPa up to 1,100 MPa.
Dillinger’s steel service centers keep more than 150,000 tons of heavy plates for fast ex-stock deliveries.
Our customers have quick access to a wide range of grades, an extensive stock list and also extraordinary dimensions. Services such as stock logistics, cutting, weld edge preparation, machining, fabrication of welded components and heat treatment complete the service package and satisfy customer’s specific needs of prefabrication.
Dillinger can supply not only the right heavy plate for parts and components, but its Heavy Fabrication division, with its vast know-how and technical capabilities, supports customers on their projects; and can also perform the initial operations of customer’s fabrication shop, if needed. Many other products and services tailored to individual needs are also available for customers, who value our supply performance and future-orientated, long-term supply partnerships, logistics, support and service that meet their specific needs.
