Debasis Bhattacharya, AJAX
Ajax has emerged as a next-gen 360o concreting solutions provider covering the entire spectrum of production, transport, placement, and pavement of concrete with its engineering expertise and unmatched product support network.
Debasis Bhattacharya, National Head – Sales & Marketing

Excon will be yet another testimony to AJAX’s commitment for Innovation and Technological advancement.
We will be displaying our entire product range of self-loading concrete mixers, batching plants, planetary & twin shaft mixers, transit mixers, stationary pumps, boom pumps, self-propelled boom pumps, and slip-form pavers, quite a few of which are under the patented category.

There will be 5 new launches in every product category, highlighting our technological advancements, which will add value to our end-users.

We have introduced a Self-Propelled Boom Pump, a patented product, which is the first of its kind not only in India but in the whole world.
The Self-Propelled Boom Pump will cater to small and medium concrete placement needs of Infrastructure at tough site conditions and Housing in semi-urban Tier II and Tier III cities. It consists of a Pumping Kit and Boom mounted on AJAX’s own 4-wheel drive, 4-wheel steering chassis with hydrostatic transmission.

Its compact design with features of tight turning radius and 4-wheel drive enables better manoeuvrability at confined site conditions and better access, very near to the placement site, thereby utilising boom length to the maximum. We are confident that this product will revolutionise the placement needs of small and medium concrete quantities, the way our SLCMs revolutionised the production needs several years ago.

The USP of our SLCM and SPBP combination is a productive, reliable, and mobile solution for concrete production and placement at remote and tough site conditions, which not only ensure quality but also substantial savings on labour and cost per cbm.

Our Slipform Paver is a specialised product for paving of rigid pavements in Highways & Airports.
India has been totally dependent on imports of such products but we at AJAX as part of “Make in India” initiative of the Government has indigenously designed and manufactured Slipform Pavers for catering to paving width requirements varying from 3.5 m to 12 m. These pavers have been manufactured with high-quality components and offer features at par with all global players.

Ajax is equipped with the biggest R&D team of 50+ members for developing new products and features.
Ajax has the largest R&D team of 50+ members amongst the Concrete Equipment manufacturers in India. Our endeavour has been to develop new products and new features on existing products that address customers stated and unstated needs.

Our SLCMs are equipped with patented load cell-based weigh batching system that ensures accuracy of batched materials and conformance to IS 4925 standards, thereby delivering quality concrete.

The rising commodity prices and the emission norm changes are challenges that are affecting business dynamics in the Construction Industry.
Over the last couple of decades there has been a thrust on project completion under tight schedules and with quality. This has propelled mechanisation in Infrastructure and Real Estate, and we have also been a part of this growth story. However, rising commodity prices coupled with the emission norm changes, are some of the recent challenges in the industry which are affecting the business dynamics. We envisaged these challenges and offer solutions with modular design, optimum productivity, and energy efficiency, which ensure customers get their returns over time.

We offer refurbished SLCMs that have crossed or are nearing their economic life, as an alternate to customers facing liquidity challenges; will explore possibilities on other product categories as well.
The pandemic has affected the pace of Infrastructure growth across all major sectors, primarily on account of Government funds’ diversion to the Healthcare sector, leading to liquidity issues. The Real Estate sector in Tier I cities has however not been impacted, primarily due to steady demand from the residential segment.

In such challenging conditions for developers and contractors, the strain is felt not only towards capex but also operational expenditure. We at Ajax have seen this as an opportunity to introduce our refurbished machines, viz., SLCMs which have crossed or are nearing their economic life. With our strategically located Service Centres at dealerships across India, we can enhance the economic life of such old machines and offer an alternate to our valued customers. We have started this with SLCMs and going forward will explore possibilities on other product categories as well.

Ajax is geared up to contribute to the country’s infra development projects with its wide portfolio of products, solutions, and services.
There is major thrust on Infrastructure in the Union Budget of 2022-23 with core focus on four areas: PM Gati Shakti, inclusive development, productivity enhancement, investment and financing of investments.

The Bharatmala project, the second-largest highway construction project in India, is aimed at improving connectivity, especially along economic corridors, border areas, and far-flung regions. The project’s focus is on optimizing the efficiency of freight and passenger movement across the country by bridging critical infrastructure gaps and meeting the target to build 65,000 km of National Highways in two phases. Railways is another sector with huge investments in HSRP, RRTS, and Metro Rail.

All such large-scale infrastructure projects and major projects under Water Resources, Power Generation & Distribution, with Central & State Government funding will need efficient and cost-effective mechanised solutions. And Ajax is geared up both at the product and support front to be a lead player in this growth story with our indigenously designed and manufactured world-class and innovative concreting solutions for facilitating infrastructure growth.

We are catering to all concreting needs, whenever, wherever and whatever the need has been. We are renowned for both our engineering expertise as well as our product after-sales support network, and for providing concreting business solutions with our complete range of products and end-to-end solutions.
