Ltd. was incorporated in 2008 as a 100% subsidiary of Machinery & Industrial Group N.V. for promoting the Chetra brand of mining, earth-moving and pipe-laying equipment, in India. The vast majority of the company's sales have been in pipe layers, where we currently have approx 30% market share. In addition to these regular products, we have also started promoting our other products range like Wheel loaders, Wheel dozers, Excavators, Skid steer loaders, Pipeline repair machines from this year. After having a series of success stories in Russia, Europe and other developed & developing countries across the world, our group now focuses on Indian market and establishment of a subsidiary company "Chetra Machinery India Pvt. Ltd" was the initial step towards this, he said. And as a part of strengthening our operations in India, we are now determinedly looking for options to create a manufacturing facility here and are also in the process of establishing an even wider dealership network across the country. We are still looking forward for suitable clients for some key states of India, Mr. Callow added.
bC India is an important venue for us to exhibit our products and this is the first time we are going to showcase our products in India. Our main focus at the show will be to exhibit our industry's capabilities, to create a better brand awareness, to showcase our products and also to clear our long-term plans for India, he said.
Looking at the market potential, we are introducing our small Dozers to the Indian market during the exhibition. These dozers will be in the power range of 90 to 150 hp. Our stall will also carry full details about the products we promote in India and the after sales and service support we offer locally. We will be circulating our company's first corporate news magazine at our stall, which will help us to give a better corporate image in India. After the exhibition, we feel we can instill confidence in Indian customers in our engineering capabilities and our operational strengths in the country, Mr. Callow said.
