CFlo Expands Manufactured Sand Solutions Amidst Growing Demand
What specialized solutions has CFlo come up with for producing Manufactured Sand (M-Sand)?
While producing washed sand from rock crushing plants has been our expertise, we have expanded our capabilities. CFlo now offers solutions for producing sand from construction and demolition waste, as well as from overburden materials collected during the preparation of open-cast coal mines at a 1:7 ratio. Given the abundant supply of overburden materials, the Indian Government is considering monetizing them.
Additionally, CFlo provides plants for manufacturing M-Sand from various other mining waste, and our advanced solutions can even process sea sand to produce M-Sand. These breakthrough solutions have significantly enhanced our position in the manufactured sand market.
What new projects has the company undertaken recently?
CFlo has recently implemented and commissioned projects featuring our latest Turbo Dual Washing Technology in Central India, specifically for processing overburden materials for Northern Coal Fields, a subsidiary of Coal India. We have also carried out a similar pilot project for other Coal India subsidiaries.
There is a growing trend towards using recycled materials in road construction and concrete. The Indian government is regularly floating tenders for processing overburden materials that were previously discarded. We see significant business opportunities for coal mining companies to produce IS: 383 BIS specification sand from their overburden stockpiles using our specialized solutions.
To further support the quarry and road building industries, we are strengthening our efforts with our patented Combo washing technology and other specialized solutions. We are collaborating with crushing plant owners to identify new applications that maximize plant usage and profitability.
The Combo range is manufactured at our facility in Kolkata, which has an annual production capacity of 60-80 units, depending on the product model. What sets the Combo technology apart is its ability to produce washed sand and washed aggregates simultaneously. It can support crushing and screening plants up to 500 TPH. Our latest launch, the Combo Mega, can wash 200-350 TPH of sand and aggregate in a single chassis, a first in the industry.
How are you dealing with increased competition in the crushing and screening space?
By introducing our global premium brand 'CFlo', we have taken a significant step towards expanding our global footprint. We have started hiring dedicated sales teams and establishing dealerships in priority regions such as Russia and the Middle East, where we also plan to set up our own Sevaforce service centers.
