Ammann India: Super-Tech Asphalt Batch Mix Plants & CE Stage V Compactors

Road construction equipment behemoth Ammann India is well known for its formidable product offerings in road construction segment. Taking its expertise ahead, Ammann India has recently unveiled a series of new products like an asphalt batch mix plant, a 10-meter Ammann ABG track paver, concrete batching plants, and a battery- operated paver. Informed Dheeraj Panda, Managing Director.
“The new 130 TPH 'SUPERTECH' asphalt batching plant will position us more strongly in the mid- segment of asphalt plants. This 60% RAP- enabled plant, with variable frequency drives, works on low pressure burners to deliver operational efficiency and the rated throughput.” The company offers 120-140 TPH asphalt batch mix plants and drum mix plants.
"We can also cater to the demand for higher capacity asphalt batch mix plants for use in long stretches of road construction projects with our 'Value Tech' series of 250 TPH plants. All the components ensure smooth feeding, heating, drying, screening and mixing for the desired consistency in the mix quality. The plants are equipped with the as1 control system, a leading technology with a user-friendly interface."

Ammann plants are being manufactured in the company’s state-of-the-art facility in Mehsana, Ahmedabad. “Here, the production processes are more technologically advanced, with robotics for welding, and a new paint shop, resulting in quicker deliveries to customers. The highly advanced production processes will allow us to scale up operations, when required," said Panda.
The company’s new range of compactors with technical advancements, are also compliant with the new emission norms. The new 10-ton soil compactor, with its superior performance, lower cost of operation, easy access for maintenance, reliability, and safety in operation (when working on hilly terrains and gradients), gives a uniform force to achieve the desired compaction. This results in a lesser number of passes which consequently reduces fuel consumption and the operating cost. Its compact design, articulated maneuverability for a lesser turning radius, and better visibility for the operator, makes the jobs safer & faster.
Ammann has ventured into concreting solutions with its trailer-mounted stationary pumps, concrete batch mix plants that feature ELBA technology working on Ammann’s software. The company is already producing 4-5 plants a month. The products deliver reduced cycle time, rated throughput, and can pump different grades of concrete smoothly.

“We are confident that our products superior technology, along with our support and services, will help establish our brand in the concreting industry. Our acquisition of Volvo CE's paver business and its standardization is also in accordance with the company’s production processes. Volvo's ABG range of pavers under Ammann Umbrella has widened our portfolio, especially in the 7–13-meter segment, thereby supplementing our 7-meter and our existing Apollo paver range of 5.5-6 meters. Since the ABG pavers were of European origin, we have reoriented their software to meet Indian road construction needs and have accordingly tropicalized the screeds. The Apollo brand of pavers has a strong recall,” informed Panda.
Ammann India exports 20% of its products to Latin American countries and to Indonesia, among others, and aims to further increase the export volume in 2025.
